Sony Pictures has planned to re-release Spider-Man: Far From Home on Labor Day and in this version, there will be a badass 4-minute action scene. The scene could include Spider-Man wearing the Iron Spider armor that he has donned in the Avengers: Endgame. On this scene, Spider-Man could be fighting with a New York crime family in a restaurant, and just before going on a vacation. The extra four minutes have been advertised in many TV spots and trailers, so it will be something that fans will be at least a little familiar.
According to the director of the movie, Jon Watts; Peter is running around, trying to get done with some errands before he decides to head to Europe, carrying a to-do list. On this list, you could read these to-do things; picking up his passport, purchase a dual headphone adapter, and fight a very dangerous criminal family. Another “minor spoiler” in the movie was that Peter was selling his Star Wars action figures and other prized possessions, to buy a Black Dahlia necklace for his crush.
Spider-Man: Far From Home has become a massive hit and has earned more than $1.1 billion since its release. In doing so, it managed to become the highest-grossing Spider-Man movie as well as the highest-grossing movie for Sony Pictures. The latest Spider-Man movie has become an instant hit since Tom Holland has portrayed the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man to perfection. This hasn’t been the first time that Holland has portrayed the iconic character, having done so on other occasions. The predecessor, Spider-Man: Homecoming, was also wildly successful, earning more than $880 million. However, the success of Spider-Man: Far From Home has been incredible. While with the addition of this four-minute scene, fans will be flocking to the theaters to watch the movie again, and see what’s the hype.
Unfortunately, for the Spider-Man fans, a gigantic dispute between Sony and Marvel has recently erupted. It seems that for the moment a deal hasn’t been reached between the two giants, and despite the success of these past two Spider-Man movies, the egos of these two companies might cost the fans. We’re hoping that this will not be the case, because Tom Holland and Jon Watts need to do another Spider-Man movie before everything is said and done!
